Ooh, very fancy, girls! I love it. I'm wondering if I can let Rachel and Elizabeth see this tomorrow to let them admire the prettiness without them getting the idea in their heads that I'm supposed to be doing that to THEIR hair.

Oh my goodness! I am so impressed. Your girls must feel so fancy every day. Where did you get that book?

Elizabeth remembered on Saturday that she got a similar book as a prize at school. I'm not nearly as brave as you are, though. On Saturday she had ponytails with a zig-zag part with little springy things in the points, but that's about the extent of my creativity. Your girls have been looking very cute, though.

What a good mom...I'm afraid that my hands don't work well enough to do those things! I'm back and will post tonight or tomorrow.

Still completely impressed. I did a very bad french braid in Afton's hair on Monday -- held in with lots of sticky hairspray. When I picked her up after school she had taken it out! Aurrgh! I'm not very good at hair, but please, when I do try, let it last the day! Kudos to you for all your hair-do prowess. I'm throwing in the brush (and the hairspray, and the rubber bands, and ...)

Laur, I remember that Amy had a book like that when I stayed with her one summer (I was probably 9 or 10) and I thought it was just the best thing ever. I looked through that book over and over again and memorized everything. I had to do the hair-dos to myself, though. It wasn't nearly as fun. Looking at your girls and picturing that book kind of make me feel giddy all over again. How fun.

Very impressive that you have kept up with those hair dos! With all those girls to demand fancy hair, I am surprised that the book didn't mysteriously get lost;)
