lesson learned

today i learned (again) that sleeping in on a saturday is not worth it when it means that when you go running at 8:15 in the morning (instead of the usual 6:00 a.m. time) the temperature will be 84 degrees and the humidity will be 88%.  we'll see if i can remember this lesson next saturday.  it's funny how a nice, soft bed can trick me into forgetting.

It would be worth it if you just skip the running! You're too skinny anyway!

You are so good about running. I know that by 8:00 its to HOT. It seems to be getting hotter by the day. Thanks for having us over the other night. We always have a blast

I sometimes wonder if a mattress has to pass a debate class before it's allowed on the market. Mine got straight A's.

i can't tell you how many times my bed has convinced me to stay in bed longer than i should. it's how i used to get ready (with a shower, even) in under 10 minutes every day.

my bet is next saturday you'll still sleep in. i wish you luck!

I'm amazed you slept in! Next time I dare you to sleep in and skip the running. :-) I know, you are getting ready for a race. Maybe you could try it the week after.

I did the same thing yesterday. Except I didn't run at all, I fooled myself into thinking a family bike ride would be comparable. :-) BTW, I don't think I'd get chickens in your neighborhood, either. I'm sure the gators would love the snack! hee hee

I feel the same way as Annette - I want to be like you someday.

How long have you been running on Saturdays for? What race are you doing?

Maybe you should get a treadmill, so that you can sleep in a little and then do your run in the comfort of your air conditioned house :)
