Good job Laura. Are you the ward organist? I love that job because I make sure I do pedals and I have gotten so much better. So I have gotten way better just because of the calling.
AAAAAAAAAHHH! That song is the reason I will never play the organ again . . .
unless someone asks me really nicely and has really low expectations.

Hi Lauren - it's good to hear from you - I've been secretly stalking your blog (through Amber's). Your kids do look cute in red, white and blue! Trina also has a blog, her link is way down on the left side of my blog.
Good job, Laura! That is quite an accomplishment. This just made me sad, though, because I missed the last two Sundays at church with sick kids, and I hadn't even realized that I missed my only chance to sing the patriotic hymns at church for the whole year, and those are my favorites! Maybe I can request that we sing them again next week? Our ward organist might not be too happy about having to repeat, though.
the seasonal hymns seem to be the hardest to play since you don't play them nearly as often. i'm very impressed!
